Ranking
The ranking
The ranking shows how a category finished, first place to last, across every phase.
Ranking is on the category's page.
Players are placed by the furthest phase they reached, then by their place in it. Everyone in a later phase ranks above everyone the phases before it eliminated.
Reached names that phase and the place there, with the group when there are several.
In a group stage, all group winners come first, then all runners-up, and so on.
In a knockout, the bracket decides. Players who went out in the same round, with those places not played out, are separated by the usual order: wins, then set difference.
With a main draw and a consolation draw side by side, the main draw ranks above.
A click on Place or # sorts the list.
Final or open
The pill around a place says whether it can still change, as in the picture above.
No pill: the player is still playing.
Grey flag: no matches left, but the place still depends on others, such as after a lost semifinal while the other one is on.
Green flag: the place is final.
A legend under the list explains both. Once every place is final, the pills go.
Certificates
Print certificates for the places, on blank or pre-printed paper.
Print certificates is on the ranking page.
Who gets one: Places from … to …, or tick single players. All, Final places and None pick quickly. In doubles each partner gets their own, with the partner named below. If a ticked place isn't final yet, an orange note warns you.
What's on them: the lines Place, Name, Category, Tournament name, Date, Location and Own text. Tick them and drag them into order. The name goes on One line or Two lines. Certificate language is independent of the app's language.
Order: First prints the best place first, Last the last place first, the order of a prize-giving.
Position on the sheet, for pre-printed paper: Alignment, From the top (mm), From the side (mm) and Text size (%).
Print 3 prints one certificate per A4 page. In Safari, untick "Print headers and footers" in the print dialog.
